BHRS services are intensive mental health services for children and
adolescents with or at risk of developing severe emotional disorders
and their families.
The Green Tree
School BHRS Program is designed to provide intensive
individual, group and family therapy; behavior management; guidance
in the identification and utilization of needed resources; and
strategic therapeutic interventions and skills training to children,
adolescents and their families or care providers.
All children and
youth that are involved in the program are given the opportunity to
maximize their learning potential through the use of the most
developed psychotherapeutic techniques, parent training procedures,
curriculum standards and classroom management strategies.
The primary objective of the program is to sustain each child
in his/her home environment.

therapeutic services to a student and their family, in settings
other than a provider office or agency.
These settings include the student's home, church,
community center, school and other community settings.
This therapy is child-centered and family-focused.
-
THERAPUETIC
STAFF SUPPORT (TSS):
The role of the TSS worker is to
provide therapeutic support to the student in specific areas of
social, behavioral and emotional concern and needs that that
have been identified by the student and family and addressed in

individual also facilitates the growth and development of
therapeutic support skills in parents, family members, educators
and others to ensure that such support is maintained for the
child as professional interventions are decreased and terminated.
-
