    Markia Grant

    Markia Grant serves as the Human Resource Manager for Green Tree School and Services.  Markia has over 15 years of experience in several aspects of human resources involving: employee training, benefits, and payroll. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Pre-Law and African Studies from Lincoln University of PA.  Markia has been a part of the Green Tree family for 5 years. She is enthusiastic about encouraging a positive workplace culture and facilitating employee development.

    Ashara Cashaw

    Executive Director

    Dr. Cashaw V.2

    Dr. Cashaw is the Executive Director for Green Tree School & Services. Dr. Cashaw has been providing therapeutic services to children with unique needs and abilities for over 20 years. She joined Green Tree School & Services in 2013 and served as the Clinical Director of Operations in the Behavioral Health Department. Dr. Cashaw received her bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, her Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania, and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Cashaw is passionate about developing opportunities for everyone – our students and our team members – to grow and reach their full potential. With a keen eye focused on growth and development, Dr. Cashaw and Green Tree School & Services strive toward consistently elevating the standard for special education services.

    Christina Spielbauer

    Christina Spielbauer, M.Ed. is the Senior Vice President of Operations for New Story in Pennsylvania. In this role, she oversees all of the state’s 14 New Story Schools, nine River Rock Academy campus locations, and Green Tree School & Services. She works to drive operational excellence and growth for all of New Story’s Pennsylvania-based schools and programs. For the past 25 years, Christina has dedicated her life to public education working in a variety of roles and settings including teacher and principal. Prior to joining New Story, Christina served as the Superintendent of the Carlisle Area School District. She is an active volunteer, having served on several boards including the Special Olympics, United Way of Carlisle and Cumberland County, the DREAM partnership, and Hope Station. Christina earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Special Education from Duquesne University, a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Shippensburg University and her Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility from Shippensburg University.

    Clinton Nelson, M.Ed., BCBA, LBS, is the Regional Director of Operations for Green Tree Schools. Clint began working with Green Tree School & Services in 2013 in the behavioral health department. Clint moved into the school in 2016 after a year as the Director of the Partnerships program. Clint brings over 20 years of experience as a clinician and consultant in the behavioral realm. He also has over eight years of experience as an administrator. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Clint earned both his BA (psychology) and M. Ed (Educational Psychology) from Temple University in Philadelphia.

    Maureen Manning V. 2

    Maureen Manning, Ph.D., NCSP, BCASE, is the Director of Clinical Services for Green Tree School & Services. Maureen oversees the clinical services team and the implementation of tiered clinical supports, including nursing/school health, school psychology, social work, speech language pathology, and occupational therapy. She has over 15 years of experience as a school psychologist in public and private schools and has also taught graduate-level courses in school psychology and special education.

    Maureen received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education and psychology at St. Joseph’s University. She earned a master’s degree in school psychology and a doctorate in education from the University of Delaware. She has national certification as a school psychologist and state certification in Pennsylvania. In addition, she holds a teaching certification in PA for elementary students in grades K-6 and special education students in grades K-12. She recently earned national board certification as a special education advocate.

We continually monitor, evaluate and reflect upon our practices in order to improve the quality of services we deliver.     Admissions and Community Outreach Coordinator

    Dareema Primus-DeVose

    Dareema Primus-DeVose, serves as the Admissions and Community Outreach Coordinator for Green Tree School & Services. Dareema has over 16 years of experience working in human services with a focus on working with youth. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. After landing a job in the social services field in 2005, Dareema decided to pursue a career focused on impacting the lives of families and youth.

    In 2001, Dareema completed her graduate studies at Eastern University, earning her master’s degree in Urban Studies with a concentration in Community Development. Dareema has been a part of the Green Tree family for 11 years. She has served in a number of different capacities throughout her tenure but is the most excited about her role as Admissions & Community Outreach Coordinator. Dareema enjoys having the opportunity to introduce students and families to Green Tree and to see the positive effects that a nurturing and supportive learning environment can have on a student’s life.
